1. Overview
GHB CCTV is designed with privacy as the top priority. Unlike traditional IP cameras, this app operates on a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) model over your local Wi-Fi network.
We do not collect, store, or upload your video or audio feeds to any cloud server.
2. Information We Collect
- Video & Audio: Processed in real-time on your device and streamed directly to your connected Client device over the local network.
- Device Information: We use your Device ID (Android ID) solely to verify your "Device License" purchase. This is done securely and anonymously.
- Crash Logs: We may collect anonymous crash reports (via Google Firebase) to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
3. Permissions Required
Camera
Required to capture video for the Host functionality. Video never leaves your local network.
Microphone
Required to capture audio for the Host functionality. Audio is streamed directly to the Client.
Local Network
Required to discover and connect to other devices on your Wi-Fi.
Notifications
Required to keep the Host service running in the background.
4. In-App Purchases
This app offers a "Device License" as an In-App Purchase via Google Play. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not have access to your credit card information.
